Her last litter was from a Gloucestershire Old Spot boar and was a great success! Folks drove more than a day to get some of those piglets. This new litter, from our Longfellow Large Black boar, could be the most hardy, pasture ready litter we've had! They will be born just in time to get nice and strong for the winter.

These piglets will sell for $60 each, a very nice price for such unique genetics. You can place a deposit for yours now on our purchase page. We expect to have at least ten piglets from this litter!

GOS Cross Piglets - Only Four Boars Left!

We crossed our Gloucestershire Old Spot (GOS) boar with our Hampshire / Duroc cross sows and now only four boars are left!

What this means is that we have piglets that carry the wonderful meat qualities of all three breeds! Hampshires are the best lean pork pig on the planet; since our sows have Duroc in their pedigree they also have excellent muscling, meaning large hams and roasts. GOS have the tastiest pork available; their muscles are also micro-marbled which keeps them moist during cooking. With these qualities combined in our piglets you cannot find a better source for your pork!

If you want to start your own herd or improve your existing herd, these boars are perfect! Hampshires have long been used to improve existing herds by introducing hybrid vigor, large litters and sows with great mothering instinct. By importing GOS genetics you will also be making your pork much more tasty and able to stay moist and tender despite the cooking method used.
